Establish and expand customer and dealer networks while developing new sales channels to grow market presence.
Identify, research, and pursue prospective customers; develop account plans for top prospects and conduct face-to-face sales calls.
Build and strengthen customer relationships by understanding business models, buying processes, and needs, and offering tailored Cummins solutions.
Present and negotiate solutions effectively, demonstrating value propositions, and conducting negotiations within company guidelines, including payment terms.
Drive sales performance by achieving targets, maintaining accurate forecasts, and ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to resolve payment issues, manage receivables, and balance inventory, service, and delivery expectations.
Maintain up-to-date activity records, reports, and forecasts through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and other sales tools.
Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership support to less experienced account executives, fostering team and individual development.
Requirements
Required: College, university, or equivalent degree in Marketing, Sales or a related subject, or acceptable sales related work experience, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
Strong commercial and technical acumen with persuasive communication, argumentation, and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in MS 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Power BI) and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
Fluency in English required; additional languages such as German or Belgian are highly advantageous.
Familiarity with market dynamics in Northern & Central Europe.
Adaptability to work in a hybrid, cross-regional team structure and willingness to travel 20–30% across the region.
