About the role

  • Respond to incoming electronic customer enquiries (emails, forms) and customer calls; engage more experienced Inside Sales Coordinator when needed
  • Compile budgetary quotes for simple jobs by gathering technical data, customer presentations, lead time and other inputs
  • Schedule customer visits and events; prepare and execute associated activities
  • Receive and process orders; issue order acknowledgements, invoices and shipping notices for simple jobs
  • Compile and communicate order status, inventory status and other associated information to customer-facing sales force
  • Assist in resolving customer issues (including shipment and after sale support)
  • Compile, analyze and report inventory/stock levels where procedures are documented and analysis is repetitive
  • Support branch personnel in the sale of products to retail customers
  • Review financial performance of expiring contracts and prepare renewal proposals
  • Run point on legal for inside sales renewal contracts; verify contract validity and payment types
  • Execute contract upsells (oil, fuel/coolant samples, batteries, filters, maintenance extensions, etc.) and convert CASH accounts to CHARGE accounts
  • Advise customers on account status and collection issues; collect payment via Snap Pay
  • Create BMS renewal quotes, secure acceptance/signature, and escalate requests to outside sales when required
  • Assist with accounts receivable past due issues

Requirements

  • Role Expectations: This is a hybrid role that can be performed from any of the following locations within the Western US: AZ, CA, CO, ID, MT, NM, NV, OR, UT, WA, WY
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience
  • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
  • Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience

  • Must be able to work Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM Pacific Time
