About the role
- Develop the HR function, foster the Right Environment, and manage Employee Relations for the York, SC site.
- Drive clear, multi-channel communication and translate corporate initiatives into localized strategies.
- Provide strategic partnership with business leaders on talent strategy and workforce planning.
- Lead change management efforts using structured tools to ensure adoption and outcomes.
- Translate compensation and benefits plans into clear, compliant communications.
- Conduct thorough, unbiased investigations and resolve employee issues with professionalism.
- Manage and improve HR operations focusing on accuracy, compliance, and agility.
- Mentor and develop HR team members; assign work and provide performance feedback.
- Analyze HR data and KPIs to inform decisions and improve HR investments.
Requirements
- The work location for this position is York-SC.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources, including previous leadership experience.
- College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Significant relevant work experience required.
- Ability to collaborate with business leaders to align talent strategies with organizational goals (Strategic Partnership Skills).
- Strong business acumen to translate business objectives into HR initiatives.
- Proficiency in conflict resolution, coaching, and employee relations.
- Skill in conducting investigations and using ethical judgment.
- Commitment to employee development and performance-driven mindset.
- Deep understanding of employment laws and HR policies (Compliance & Policy Knowledge).
- Attention to detail in managing HRIS data and ability to analyze HR metrics (Data Accuracy & Insight).
- Broad knowledge across HR domains including compensation, benefits, staffing, employee relations, and performance management.
- Experience in mentoring and managing direct reports (Leadership & Team Development).
