About the role
- Install, configure, and upgrade company software within customer and internal environments.
- Support system and platform upgrades, including migrations and versioning.
- Provide technical support for customer environments and act as a liaison with customer IT teams.
- Assist with new system installations and environment set up.
- Support internal development and QA environments.
- Assist with database administration, backups, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain clear and repeatable technical documentation for environments and processes.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation, and proactive technical services.
Requirements
- Experience supporting enterprise applications running on Progress OpenEdge, SQL Server or Oracle in production environments.
- Windows Server administration experience.
- Understanding of database administration concepts and principles.
- Experience with software deployment, upgrades, and environment management.
