About the role
- Conduct risk-based testing on low to moderately complex software changes
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and QA teams to understand changes and identify risks
- Design and execute test cases focused on high-risk areas
- Learn CSI’s core banking systems and their interdependencies (NuPoint, DDA, CDs, Loans)
- Review user stories and acceptance criteria to proactively identify edge cases
- Define business scenarios and contribute to technical requirements and workflow diagrams
- Create and document test plans and results
- Support offshore automation testers by guiding manual testing processes
- Fulfill additional duties as assigned to support team effectiveness
Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in a technical or QA-related role
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in information system or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong understanding of software testing principles (manual or automated)
- Detail-oriented mindset with a knack for spotting hidden dependencies
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate across teams
- Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, MS Word, and MS Office Suite
- Banking knowledge (especially deposits or loans) is a plus
