About the role

  • Assisting in supporting an AWS Cloud Infrastructure maintaining deployment and application infrastructure
  • Validating installation, configuration, release, and promotion processes and procedures
  • Supporting the DW Product Development Teams’ releases and promotions through to production
  • Assist with troubleshooting Platform errors
  • Troubleshoot and assisting on bugfixes for DPM Applications
  • Monitor DPM solutions’ function and performance; suggest and implement proactive remediation measures
  • Assist with Automation and document Platform Engineer processes
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Collaborate with colleagues in architecture and development groups
  • Install, configure and upgrade third party products and open-source solutions
  • Understand and adhere to CSG Security and Compliance Standards.
  • Bi-weekly off-hour maintenance activities performed within the required maintenance window

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
  • 3- 5 years of work experience in software industry and application support experience
  • Knowledge of database applications (Oracle) and Web Services (REST)
  • Familiarity with AWS or equivalent public cloud experience
  • Familiarity with version control, continuous integration, and delivery tools (Git, Jenkins, Artifactory or related services like Azure DevOps, Salt, AWS CodeCommit/Build/Pipelines, BitBucket or GitLab)
  • Software development experience on Linux platforms in common scripting languages is highly desirable (NodeJS, Java, Python, bash,)
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code
  • A desire to learn new things.
