About the role

  • Lead and support enterprise-level strategic assessments, including market analysis, competitive research, and evaluations of emerging opportunities
  • Develop strategic options and recommendations backed by rigorous analysis
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of CSA’s multi‑year strategic plan
  • Serve as a strategy partner to business unit leaders, helping translate broad strategic priorities into actionable initiatives
  • Provide structured problem-solving support for new opportunities, challenges, or executive questions
  • Facilitate strategic discussions, workshops, and leadership planning sessions
  • Manage end‑to‑end strategic projects, including scoping, work planning, analysis, stakeholder alignment, and final recommendations
  • Coordinate and guide cross‑functional working teams to drive progress on key initiatives
  • Prepare executive‑level presentations, reports, and briefing materials for senior leadership and board-level audiences
  • Build and interpret financial models, scenarios, and business cases to support investment decisions and strategic trade‑offs
  • Provide insights on business performance and future strategic opportunities
  • Synthesize quantitative and qualitative information into clear strategic narratives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Finance)
  • 4–6 years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or a strategy‑oriented role
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and structured-thinking skills
  • High degree of curiosity, eagerness to learn, and openness to exploring new sectors, ideas, and approaches
  • Proven ability to communicate complex ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing through insight
  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint and Excel
  • Candidates with proficiency in French will be given special consideration
  • Preferred MBA or similar graduate degree is an asset
  • Experience in standards, certification, regulatory, or related industries
  • Background supporting enterprise transformation or growth initiatives
