Conducting in-depth research on critical accounting issues, market trends, and regulatory updates and performing financial, cash flow and income statement analyses to assess the impact of new accounting standards or regulations.
Provide guidance on business processes and internal controls related to accounting and regulatory changes.
Providing technical support to the finance team in relation to complex accounting issues.
Revise and maintain the group’s accounting policies to align with the latest accounting standards.
Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, facilitating effective communication on accounting topics.
Undertake additional tasks assigned to support business needs.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business required; advanced degrees or CPA certification preferred.
At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting/technical accounting; prior audit experience is advantageous.
Strong understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or US GAAP
Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial instrument valuation is a plus.
Exceptional analytical, project management, presentation, and communication skills.
Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
