About the role
- Define long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap for Managed AI & Inference services aligned with company goals and market trends.
- Lead and manage a team of product managers, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship.
- Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, cloud software, SRE, finance, and executive teams to define product requirements and prioritize features.
- Oversee the product development lifecycle from concept to launch and continuous improvement.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and identify opportunities in AI/ML infrastructure, inference platforms, LLMs, and multimodal models.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers to gather feedback and translate it into product improvements.
- Partner with sales and marketing on GTM strategies, pricing, and positioning for Managed AI & Inference offerings.
- Monitor key performance metrics, analyze data to measure product success, and make data-driven decisions.
- Manage product budgets and resources effectively to achieve business goals.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, scaling challenges, and infrastructure bottlenecks.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure successful product execution and alignment with Crusoe’s sustainability goals.
Requirements
- Strategic thinking and leadership: Ability to think strategically, set a clear vision, make informed decisions, and guide the team toward achieving product goals.
- Deep technical acumen: Strong understanding of AI/ML workloads, inference systems, and cloud infrastructure technologies and trends, with specific experience in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Product management expertise: Proven track record in product management, particularly in AI/ML platforms, inference products, or related cloud services, with experience managing and launching technical products and features at scale.
- Analytical skills and data-driven decision making: Ability to analyze market and customer data, interpret complex data sets, and use insights to drive product strategy and prioritization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders, present technical concepts, and build consensus.
- Experience leading and managing teams: Proven experience in leading and mentoring product management teams.
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean product management methodologies.
