About the role

  • Cruose's mission is to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. We’re crafting the engine that powers a world where people can create ambitiously with AI — without sacrificing scale, speed, or sustainability. Be part of the AI revolution with sustainable technology at Crusoe. Here, you'll drive meaningful innovation, make a tangible impact, and join a team that’s setting the pace for responsible, transformative cloud infrastructure. The Senior Contracts Specialist will own the procurement and contracting for Crusoe’s large equipment, utilities, and power-generation needs, as well as other major procurement agreements that support data center builds. Lead commercial negotiations, draft and review complex contract language (AIA agreements, Master Service Agreements, and Master Capital Equipment / Procurement Agreements), and collaborate closely with internal business partners and Legal to finalize and execute agreements. Create and maintain negotiation playbooks to accelerate turnaround times. Identify and implement process improvements to streamline contracting workflows. Assess commercial risks and recommend mitigations. Produce regular reports on contract KPIs and perform data analysis using tools like Excel or Google Sheets.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on commercial contracting or procurement experience. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. Experience negotiating commercial terms and managing large, complex agreements, such as MSAs and AIA agreements. Background in data center, utilities, power generation, construction, or similar industries is preferred. Proficiency with contract lifecycle management systems (Ironclad experience is highly desirable) and strong Microsoft Office skills (including Excel) for tracking and reporting. Excellent command of contract language, commercial risk assessment, and negotiation strategy. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interface at all levels of the organization. Must be able to manage a high volume of contracts and prioritize competing deadlines.
