About the role
- Execute indirect commodity sourcing RFP’s for local, regional and national initiatives - up to 30,000 sites
- Meet client cycle time for all RFP activities
- Manage large data sets for both procurement and auditing purposes
- Manage the inventory of equipment and ensure data accuracy of inventory description and pricing
- Manage supplier relationships as related to negotiations, administration, and operational issues
- Ensure contracting and procurement standards are maintained throughout the portfolio
- Support Sourcing Manager with communication, coordination, and implementation of local and regional indirect sourcing initiatives and contract negotiations to suppliers and operations team
- Identify and communicate opportunities to streamline Indirect sourcing processes and workload
Requirements
- Knowledge of USPS Procurement Policy and/or Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing RFP activities with short cycle times – 1 day to 14 days cycle time
- Clear demonstration of advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Preferred experience with sourcing technical services, trash and recycling services and soft services experience
- Demonstrated high volume sourcing – annual over 3,000 transactions
- College degree and/or 3+ years of related experience
