About the role
- Execute strategic sourcing initiatives and manage supplier relationships
- Support cross-divisional procurement activities across Abbott’s global mechanical supply base
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers to drive cost savings
- Analyze solutions to mitigate supply constraints
- Communicate updates to global procurement, divisional stakeholders, and suppliers
- Create and execute RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs for supplier engagement
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or Finance
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or relevant engineering roles
- CPM or equivalent certification (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in spreadsheet programs and data analysis tools
- Experience with PowerBI and contracting (SOW).
