About the role
- Own outbound strategy and pipeline generation across and beyond your assigned book, leveraging deep account research to identify high-value opportunities and consistently build 2.5x quota coverage.
- Qualify and advance inbound and SDR-sourced leads by uncovering business priorities, mapping use cases, and developing targeted win strategies aligned to measurable outcomes.
- Build trusted, executive-level relationships that expand beyond individual users, positioning Predictions & Insights as a company-wide strategic solution.
- Clearly articulate Crunchbase’s differentiated value against competitors, tying solutions to industry-specific impact and ROI.
- Lead coordinated deal execution from early qualification through close, partnering with Solutions Engineering on data trials/POCs and driving seamless internal alignment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with SDRs, Customer Success, Business Development, and Product Marketing to execute ABM strategies, ensure successful onboarding, and drive long-term account growth.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years as an AE selling SaaS products to B2B customers.
- Must have experience selling data and API products
- Experience cross-selling as well as upselling/expanding accounts
- Proven experience in data sales in the Corporate segment, including selling data products, analytics solutions, or data-driven services.
- Strong understanding of data monetization strategies and experience navigating data licensing agreements.
- Track record of exceeding sales targets in a data-focused environment, with expertise in pipeline management and deal execution.
- Ability to articulate the value of data to customers and business partners, addressing use cases, compliance considerations, and ROI.
