About the role
- Lead and provide partnership on the sensor development team involved in architecture, strategy, and building next-generation Anti-Virus and Enhanced Detection and Response Security Software
- Design and develop core features for the Windows sensor (lightweight agent) observing system activity and providing on-box prevention and telemetry
- Own features from design to delivery, including participation in product demo at the end of the sprint
- Develop new product concepts and support development teams in designing and building cross-platform components (Windows, Mac, Linux)
- Work on features that cross-cut OS subsystems such as file system, memory, process, and networking
- Collaborate with multi-functional and distributed teams and operate under Agile development principles, shipping frequently
Requirements
- In depth knowledge with C/C++ and Windows OS Kernel and Driver Development
- Strong low-level OS internals in Windows
- Experience debugging memory corruptions, process contentions and system performance
- Experience working with teams to ship major features and releases
- Lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a distributed team
- Experience designing and building software with cross-platform deliverables (Windows, Mac, Linux)
- Strong background in scalable, light-weight and highly performing systems (bonus)
- OS system expertise for core concepts and subsystems (bonus)
- Familiarity and experience with Agile process (bonus)
- Knowledge in Security (bonus)
