About the role

  • Create clean, maintainable, performant, and tested code in C++ and Python tailored to run as stand-alone applications
  • Solve difficult problems in security, performance, privacy and networking on multiple platforms
  • Create, maintain and improve a multi-functional desktop application with cross-compilation capabilities
  • Work on cross-platform build and deployment (cross-compilation) and ensure memory- and performance-sensitive code quality
  • Collaborate with R&D team and global experts to deliver network-security features for NordLayer

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge and experience of development in C++
  • Cross-compilation capable Desktop Application Development (big plus)
  • Interest in Open Source projects (previous experience is a big plus)
  • Experience in cross-compilation capable projects
  • Experience in REST API usage and development
  • Experience with C++ development in memory-sensitive environments
  • Strong debugging skills and attention to ensuring correct behavior in all cases
  • Desire to learn and improve
  • Familiarity with Bash, Python, and Git-based automation tools
