About the role
- Implement and maintain Cribl’s privacy program, including program management, identifying priorities, and ensuring compliance with global privacy laws and regulations;
- Provide practical guidance to product, marketing and other teams on legal and privacy issues, including on related generative artificial intelligence laws and regulations;
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify issues, propose solutions and drive business outcomes;
- Remain current on the evolving privacy landscape, anticipate trends and educate team members accordingly;
- Negotiate privacy-related agreements in support of sales transactions.
- We are a remote-first company and work happens across many time-zones – you may be required to occasionally perform duties outside your standard working hours.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of privacy experience (CIPP/US and/or CIPM certification a bonus), preferably at an enterprise software and SaaS company or similar technical experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with U.S. and global privacy laws, including GDPR & CCPA
- Strong project management skills with an emphasis on being detail-oriented and organized and an ability to identify priorities and execute
- Passion for privacy law, technology, and the intersection of each, as well as an eagerness to learn in a rapidly evolving landscape and growing business needs
- Comfort in a remote environment, self-motivated to work asynchronously and independently while managing different time zones
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including cross-functionally
- A collaborator with a great sense of humor and ability to think creatively
- Juris Doctorate and a relevant license to practice law in good standing
