About the role
- Build analytical data products and provide valuable insights to business stakeholders
- Design and deploy features for our cloud-based Data Lake and our Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) product
- Design schemas and datalakes and datamarts
- Build scalable data-processing pipelines in the cloud using technologies like Apache Spark, Hive, BigQuery, micro-services, Kubernetes
- Analyze digital marketing performance using Python and SQL
Requirements
- 5+ years of data engineering and development experience
- Proficient in Python
- Ideally proficient in Scala, Ruby, GoLang
- Expert level experience with Google cloud platform, BigQuery and SQL
- Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark and Hive
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (e.g. Pub/sub, Kafka)
- Experience with infrastructure-as-Code (IaC, e.g. Terraform) tools is a plus
- Familiar with building data foundations, Data lakes and datamarts
- Ideally have experience in digital marketing, marketing attribution and ad platforms APIs, e.g. Google ads API and Bing API
- Optional: Machine learning, interest in AI, familiar with statistical A/B testing, design of experiments
