About the role

  • Build analytical data products and provide valuable insights to business stakeholders
  • Design and deploy features for our cloud-based Data Lake and our Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) product
  • Design schemas and datalakes and datamarts
  • Build scalable data-processing pipelines in the cloud using technologies like Apache Spark, Hive, BigQuery, micro-services, Kubernetes
  • Analyze digital marketing performance using Python and SQL

Requirements

  • 5+ years of data engineering and development experience
  • Proficient in Python
  • Ideally proficient in Scala, Ruby, GoLang
  • Expert level experience with Google cloud platform, BigQuery and SQL
  • Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark and Hive
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures (e.g. Pub/sub, Kafka)
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-Code (IaC, e.g. Terraform) tools is a plus
  • Familiar with building data foundations, Data lakes and datamarts
  • Ideally have experience in digital marketing, marketing attribution and ad platforms APIs, e.g. Google ads API and Bing API
  • Optional: Machine learning, interest in AI, familiar with statistical A/B testing, design of experiments
