About the role
- Accountable for the sales of Dealer.com products to franchise car dealerships.
- Generate and maximize sales revenue and increase customers in a territory.
- Offer creative solutions to help dealers reach their business objectives and provide insights on Dealer.com products to internal partners regarding key dealer business challenges.
- Reinforce the value of existing Dealer.com and Cox Auto products and serve as the primary point of contact for Dealer.com.
- Own, deepen, and continually build the relationship with the dealers they are responsible for.
- This is a remote opportunity, and the incoming candidate may work from home but will travel extensively (70% or more) within the assigned territory.
- Territory focused on Florida and Alabama; candidates must live in this region.
- Use Challenger-based selling, consultative selling techniques, and partner with client stakeholders to build consensus.
- Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals as set by the region/division.
- Travel 70%+ in the assigned territory.
- Backfill open territories or existing territories, as needed.
- Partner with Regional Sales Manager to develop customer relationships with new and existing dealers.
- Build trusted relationships with decision-makers at the dealership, Dealer Principals, Controllers, and General Managers.
- Be a travel warrior - Frequent travel in designated sales territories and divisions (70% or more).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field.
- A master’s degree and 4 years’ experience.
- A Ph.D. and 1 year of experience.
- 10 years’ experience in a related field.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
