About the role

  • Accountable for the sales of Dealer.com products to franchise car dealerships.
  • Generate and maximize sales revenue and increase customers in a territory.
  • Offer creative solutions to help dealers reach their business objectives and provide insights on Dealer.com products to internal partners regarding key dealer business challenges.
  • Reinforce the value of existing Dealer.com and Cox Auto products and serve as the primary point of contact for Dealer.com.
  • Own, deepen, and continually build the relationship with the dealers they are responsible for.
  • This is a remote opportunity, and the incoming candidate may work from home but will travel extensively (70% or more) within the assigned territory.
  • Territory focused on Florida and Alabama; candidates must live in this region.
  • Use Challenger-based selling, consultative selling techniques, and partner with client stakeholders to build consensus.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals as set by the region/division.
  • Travel 70%+ in the assigned territory.
  • Backfill open territories or existing territories, as needed.
  • Partner with Regional Sales Manager to develop customer relationships with new and existing dealers.
  • Build trusted relationships with decision-makers at the dealership, Dealer Principals, Controllers, and General Managers.
  • Be a travel warrior - Frequent travel in designated sales territories and divisions (70% or more).

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field.
  • A master’s degree and 4 years’ experience.
  • A Ph.D. and 1 year of experience.
  • 10 years’ experience in a related field.
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
