About the role
- Coordinates Lot Operations activities for an assigned location
- Handles vehicle check-in duties, ensuring that all proper identification stickers and labels are properly affixed to arriving vehicles and entering vehicle identification information into company computer/tracking systems
- Use excel and hand held scanning device
- Replace and maintain vehicle trackers as needed
- May capture and process electronic images of vehicles, uploading pictures in association with electronic condition reports, when engaged in vehicle photography
- Directs vehicle transporters to appropriate car drop zones
- Conducts periodic scanning of vehicles to verify assigned inventory
- Ensures vehicles are placed in proper order for sale
- Tags and coordinates movement of disabled vehicles from staging area
- Communicate with other teams in the auction process to ensure coordinated staging efforts
- Enters vehicle data into computer/data management system
- Monitors vehicle movement through all processing within assigned quadrant
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field
- OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline
- OR 5 years’ experience in a related field
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required
- Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
- Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying (i.e., flat tires, low gas, jump-starting vehicles)
- Familiar with technology or have a technology background
- Required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear, vision abilities required to include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
- Must be able to walk long distances
