About the role

  • Coordinates Lot Operations activities for an assigned location
  • Handles vehicle check-in duties, ensuring that all proper identification stickers and labels are properly affixed to arriving vehicles and entering vehicle identification information into company computer/tracking systems
  • Use excel and hand held scanning device
  • Replace and maintain vehicle trackers as needed
  • May capture and process electronic images of vehicles, uploading pictures in association with electronic condition reports, when engaged in vehicle photography
  • Directs vehicle transporters to appropriate car drop zones
  • Conducts periodic scanning of vehicles to verify assigned inventory
  • Ensures vehicles are placed in proper order for sale
  • Tags and coordinates movement of disabled vehicles from staging area
  • Communicate with other teams in the auction process to ensure coordinated staging efforts
  • Enters vehicle data into computer/data management system
  • Monitors vehicle movement through all processing within assigned quadrant
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field
  • OR the right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline
  • OR 5 years’ experience in a related field
  • Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required
  • Ability to drive vehicles with standard and automatic transmission
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of identifying (i.e., flat tires, low gas, jump-starting vehicles)
  • Familiar with technology or have a technology background
  • Required to stand, walk, reach, talk and hear, vision abilities required to include close, distance and color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift 1-15 pounds
  • Must be able to walk long distances
