About the role
- Assist with the period end close process and other routine accounting functions
- Prepare account reconciliations and investigate variances or unexpected results
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Partner with accounting and finance teams for intercompany transactions
- Perform audit controls with internal and external audit
- Own and improve departmental procedures and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related degree
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in public or private accounting or finance
- CPA designation or CPA track preferred
- Experience and advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query, and Copilot preferred but not required
- Experience with general ledger and financial reporting systems
- Advanced understanding of US GAAP
- Experience with multiple entity / subsidiary organizations and intercompany transactions preferred
