About the role
- Review and approve order forms to ensure accuracy, compliance, and financial alignment
- Partner with Business Operations to maintain data integrity in Salesforce, particularly around ARR and deal reporting
- Enter customer deals into Maxio to support accurate accounting and revenue recognition
- Partner with Sales and Business Operations to structure deals that balance customer needs with financial and compliance requirements
- Own the accuracy of revenue-related reporting for month-end close
- Generate and issue customer invoices in a timely manner
- Send invoices to customers and manage collections to ensure strong cash flow
- Monitor A/R aging and escalate past due accounts as needed
- File monthly or quarterly sales tax filings to various states
- Assist with monthly close tasks, including reconciliations and revenue analysis
- Review and approve T&E spend for compliance with company policies
- Code accounts payable invoices and support A/P processes
- Collaborate with the Controller on ad hoc projects to improve financial operations and reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in accounting or related experience (SaaS or high-growth company experience preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of accounting/revenue tools such as Maxio.
- Familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition principles is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to partner across Finance, Sales, and Operations teams.
