About the role

  • Create and manage data marts and star schemas to support business intelligence initiatives.
  • Collaborate with US-based teams to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain data models using DBT, Snowflake, and SQL.
  • Lead and mentor junior developers, promoting best practices in data modeling and ETL processes.
  • Utilize Tableau for data visualization and reporting.
  • Ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability within the data warehouse environment.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and data warehousing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with the modern data stack (**DBT, Snowflake, SQL**).
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Ruby On Rails.
  • **Strong experience in data modeling, **including data marts and star schemas.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Proven track record of leading projects and mentoring team members.
  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
