About the role

  • Achieve individual sales quotas (new MRR, demo, prospecting, etc.) on a consistent, quarterly basis
  • React to new sales calls given to you by our marketing team and guide them through the sales process effectively and on-time
  • Prospect and engage with qualified/warm leads to source your own sales opportunities
  • Hustle your pipeline and complete enough product demos to achieve MRR quota
  • Meet activity based expectations (calls scheduled, calls completed, email, text, &/or phone call related metrics)
  • Partner with the Sales Team to solve problems & pursue opportunities to improve CoSchedule results
  • Work with the Customer Success team to facilitate a successful sales to success handoff
  • Assist Customer Success with onboarding, expansion or renewal activities as needed
  • Ask questions to help leads understand their problems and position CoSchedule products
  • Participate in sales meetings and articulate market feedback to the team
  • Maintain extreme knowledge about our product and market
  • Maintain daily/weekly KPIs as directed by leadership

Requirements

  • 1+ year experience in an account management or sales role
  • You are competitive and driven to achieve goals – both individual and team
  • You thrive in a transactional environment – you love that deals are made in 30(ish) days
  • You can close the next step…this is your superpower
  • You work independently. You can prioritize, focus, and take initiative.
  • You have a positive, can-do attitude, extraordinary hustle, disdain for failure and hunger/appreciation for feedback.
  • You think BIG and have a deep self-motivation and the ability to self-manage.
  • You’re a team player and clear problem solver.
  • Prior experience in a sales role for a SaaS product (preferred)
  • Prior experience in a marketing role – or selling into a marketing role (preferred)
  • Experience in running a sales process with Salesforce (preferred)
  • Have used a CoSchedule product in the past (preferred)
  • Be able to work remotely (role is all done remotely with no travel required)
  • Authorization to work in the United States (application asks about legal authorization and sponsorship)
