About the role

  • Manage and achieve sales plan for VA/WV/So MD/District of Columbia territory
  • Develop and execute strategies to increase Corteva sales with Certified Sentricon Specialists
  • Serve as business consultant to existing accounts and provide value via business model and product performance
  • Manage marketing and sales programs, accounts receivable, inventory management, revenue validation, technical training
  • Liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions
  • Cold calling and prospecting new customers (B2B and B2C)
  • Develop and monitor territory budgets and maintain company equipment and records
  • Represent Corteva with Pest Management Professionals and Associations and earn leadership positions
  • Communicate product features, functions and benefits one-on-one and in large meetings; demonstrate Sentricon system
  • Travel 60-70% and perform some weekend work
  • Participate in Sales Incentive Program (SIP)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • A safe driving record
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle
  • 5-10 years of both B2B and B2C sales experience preferred
  • Experience in Pest Control industry is a plus
  • 60-70% travel time required with some weekend work expected
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel pivot tables, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to develop objectives, strategies and tactics
  • Hunter mentality; self-starter and highly productive
  • Strong initiative, assertiveness and results orientation
  • Excellent presentation development & presentation skills
  • Ability to work from a virtual location and master technology and communication tools
  • Demonstrates technical aptitude of product knowledge
