• Identify, prospect, and develop new customers, suppliers, and business partnerships.
• Conduct outbound calls, emails, networking, and market outreach to generate opportunities.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Independently manage full-cycle accounting and client engagements for multiple nonprofit and for-profit organizations
• Lead the month-end close process within 5–7 business days, maintaining an error rate of less than 1–2% in financial reports with zero material audit findings
• Prepare accurate Journal entries, account reconciliations with zero unresolved variances, and monthly financial statements
• Assist with: Budgeting, Forecasting, Audit preparation, Regulatory compliance, and strengthening internal controls
• Serve as a trusted advisor by maintaining strong client relationships, responding to inquiries within 24 hours, and consistently meeting deadlines to ensure high client satisfaction and retention
• Review the work of Staff Accountants, provide guidance and mentorship, and collaborate effectively across teams to share knowledge and best practices
• Continuously identify and implement process improvements to reduce the month-end close timeline and enhance operational efficiency across client engagements.

Senior Accountant

Accounts Payable

• Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, including invoice intake, accurate coding, approval routing, payment execution, and regular vendor reconciliations.
• Design, implement, and scale efficient AP workflows, internal controls, and automation initiatives to enhance accuracy and operational scalability.
• Maintain and strengthen critical vendor relationships while ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Maintain strict compliance with GAAP, internal policies, and SOX controls.
• Perform and review account reconciliations, complex journal entries, and general ledger analysis to support timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Review and approve financial transactions to guarantee completeness, and prepare comprehensive documentation to support internal and external audits.
• Partner closely with HR, Payroll, and Operations teams to ensure accurate financial data integration across HRIS and payroll platforms.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunities, developing actionable reporting and insights for leadership.
