About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, prospect, and develop new customers, suppliers, and business partnerships.
  • Conduct outbound calls, emails, networking, and market outreach to generate opportunities.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing and post-sales support.
  • Source, evaluate, negotiate, and onboard suppliers and vendors.
  • Obtain quotations, compare costs, negotiate pricing, and manage purchasing activities.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, contracts, and commercial documentation.
  • Maintain CRM/ERP records and track pipelines, opportunities, supplier databases, and KPIs.
  • Research markets, competitors, pricing trends, and new business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at meetings, trade shows, and client visits.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Purchasing, Procurement, Supplier Development, Trading, or Commercial Sales.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM and/or ERP systems.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Experience in plastic raw materials, recycling, manufacturing, trading, commodity, metallurgical, or industrial sectors.
  • Experience with international sourcing, procurement, and global business development.
  • Knowledge of supplier acquisition, contract negotiations, and strategic partnerships.
  • Additional professional proficiency in Spanish or Japanese (spoken and written) will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Experience communicating and negotiating with international clients, suppliers, and business partners is a plus.
