About the role

  • Administering and supporting Verdantas’ Health & Safety Program within an assigned geographic area or business group
  • Provide leadership, technical guidance, and oversight to ensure consistent implementation of health and safety policies and regulatory compliance
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of facilities and operations to identify and mitigate risks
  • Lead investigations into safety incidents and near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions

Requirements

  • The candidate will need to reside within the Midwest Area
  • Manage work-related incidents and injuries to minimize escalation of recordable status
  • Obtain Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) certification
  • Radiation Safety Officer – responsible for maintaining the company’s licenses with U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Ohio Department of Health
