About the role
- Design, implement, and optimize the company’s multi-cloud infrastructure
- Lead the development of the cloud strategy
- Ensure scalability, security, resiliency, and cost-effectiveness
- Work closely with cloud engineers and stakeholders to lead cloud adoption
- Manage and optimize cloud costs
- Implement and maintain secure cloud connectivity solutions
- Oversee cloud security frameworks and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate cloud solutions
- Manage critical disaster recovery and response plans
- Provide leadership and mentorship to cloud engineers
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and perform ongoing gap analysis
- Create and maintain cloud architecture diagrams
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and infrastructure design
- Proven expertise in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Experience in designing and leading cloud solutions and architecture at scale
- Extensive experience with multi-cloud management and architecture strategies
- Expertise in designing and implementing cloud automation and orchestration tools
- Strong experience in cloud cost optimization and management
- Deep understanding of cloud security best practices and SOC 2 compliance standards
- Expertise in disaster recovery planning and designing high-availability architectures
- Advanced knowledge of cloud networking, including secure connectivity solutions
- UNIX/Linux experience required
- Leadership experience in mentoring teams and managing cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent combination of education, skills and experience
- Cloud Professional Certification required
- Other IT certifications are a plus.
