About the role
- Safely monitor the production processes in the field and from the control room
- Start-up, operation, control, monitoring and regulation of production processes
- Take samples for the purpose of in-process determinations
- Enter data in the ERP system for accounting purposes
- Keep production facilities in operational condition
- Clean equipment and work areas for sanitation and hygiene
- Perform minor mechanical maintenance on equipment
- Effective shift crossover communication
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years’ experience in an industrial environment preferred
- Process operator experience
- Multi-tasking
- Computer (Word, Excel, BPCS)
- Mechanical, forklift driving
- Safety hazard identification and laboratory skills
