About the role
- Effectively plan territory coverage
- Deliver a blended contact strategy
- Build strong business relationships with customers
- Achieve an annual territory sales target
- Maximize results through delivering agreed priorities
- Set up and implement commercial business plans with customers
- Develop and introduce new products to customers
- Ensure outstanding knowledge of Cooper Vision's products
- Deliver training programmes to retail staff
- Organize and execute clinical training in liaison with the Professional Services team
- Form close relationships with Regional Managers and representatives
- Represent the Company at seminars, exhibitions and meetings
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience and track record in defining and achieving sales results.
- Awareness and ability to make a positive impact with prospective, existing customers and others in a coaching style
- Enviable track record of achievement (target achievements) gained from organizations that demonstrate and require strong interpersonal skills to influence at all levels of management.
- Strong relationship builder with enhanced listening and coaching skills
- Understanding of investigative questioning and sales process
- Highly pro-active and able to work successfully alone as well as within a team to pre-determined objectives.
- Ability to manage a large geographical sales area.
- Works well under pressure
- Experience in the optical industry preferable
- Computer literacy including Excel, Word and PowerPoint are essential.
