About the role

  • Provides overall direction and guidance to the operational activities of the organization.
  • Provides strategic leadership and management to Operations within a large geographic region.
  • Strives to maximize growth and profitability while responsibly managing the resources of their region according to the company and client expectations and policies.
  • Develops and implements long and short-term strategies to achieve financial and growth targets.
  • Develops emerging talent and successors and creates a work environment that promotes the values of DSV.
  • Responsible for supporting the Company strategy including growth and transformational initiatives.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or Logistics or equivalent fields is required.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ logistics operations management experience with big box or specialty high-volume retailers and at least 5 years’ experience as a regional operations leader managing multiple locations.
  • Full P&L and Budget management (for profit).
  • Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.
  • Excel expertise (Pivot Tables).
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications is needed.
