About the role

  • Manage the local AP function in close cooperation with our GBS (Global Business Services) teams in Poland and Manila.
  • End responsibility for the Payment batches and manual/ faster payments.
  • Be involved in projects related to AP and Cash Management.
  • Manage a team of local AP and Cash Management Assistants
  • Master Data Management (MDM) related to vendor accounts and bank details
  • Invoice approval flow
  • Managing the payment cycle, including accurate invoice processing, SAP HANA usage, and ACH/wire/check approvals.
  • Training staff, setting performance goals, managing workloads, and providing daily support to ensure high productivity.
  • Standardising procedures, auditing for duplicate payments, reducing errors, and ensuring adherence to company policy and tax regulations.
  • Handling escalated payment discrepancies and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers.
  • Monitoring AP aging reports, performing account reconciliations, and preparing financial reports for management.
  • Support the business to prevent business disruption following late payment to critical vendors.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in successfully managing the AP function in an international environment.
  • Technical accounting knowledge for correct processing of invoices
  • Analytical skills to manage high-volume transactions, ensure accuracy, and optimise cash flow.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems – preferably SAP R4 – and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong organisational abilities for managing deadlines
  • The ability to foster team collaboration.
