About the role
- Handle all day-to-day operational elements of our customer’s needs
- Analyze booking information from customer to verify service requirements, routes, and rates
- Coordinate the flow of inbound and outbound freight while staying abreast of priorities and targets
- Collaborate with internal and external clients to prepare and present quotes
- Dispatch shipments and communicate with carriers to monitor freight movement
- Build strong relationships with the carriers and maintain performance reports
- Ensure tracking meets established standards and escalate issues as needed
- Meet KPI standards as per company guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years in transportation/logistics/distribution
- College Diploma / University Degree in Business, Logistics, or International Trade preferable
- CIFFA certificate, an asset
- Dangerous Goods Certification, an asset
- Proficient in both English and French languages
- Microsoft Office suite
- Working knowledge of transportation management software i.e., Load Link, PC Miler, etc., would be an asset.
