About the role
- Operationally responsible for the largest distribution centres for Convatec
- Manage the relationship with Third-Party Logistics partner
- Oversee daily operations and performance of the third-party logistics provider
- Collaborate with peers and logistics associates to develop the annual budget
- Monitor actual spend against budget and communicate variances to leadership
- Serve as main contact for all 3PL operations communications
- Prioritize, execute, and track savings from improvement projects
- Achieve OTIF monthly KPI
- Develop and manage Business Continuity Plans for operational crises
Requirements
- Minimum 8-10+ years of leadership experience in managing 3PL Warehouse and Transportation required
- Proven experience in managing outsourced operations
- BS or BA degree preferred
- Project Management experience and certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Extensive knowledge of inventory, distribution, SAP, and Warehouse Management Systems
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience managing automated warehouse operations preferred
- Strong analytical skills, including use of statistical methods
