About the role
- Own and manage a defined territory with direct sales responsibilities, including identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with organizational goals and PK-5 market expansion
- Engage in high-level consultative selling to uncover district needs and present tailored Conscious Discipline solutions
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders across districts and schools
- Conduct presentations, discovery calls, and product demonstrations to drive awareness and value
- Track sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts using CRM tools with a high level of accuracy and accountability
- Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment between territory strategies, organizational priorities, and overall business objectives
- Lead, coach, and support a team of Development Representatives across assigned territories, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration
- Oversee team performance management, including setting clear expectations, monitoring progress toward KPIs, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement
- Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to provide individualized coaching, performance feedback, and professional development of team members
- Translate GTM strategies into actionable regional plans and ensure consistent execution across all territories within scope
- Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and resource allocation to drive territory growth and optimize team effectiveness
- Provide regular performance updates, pipeline insights, and market feedback to leadership to inform broader strategy and decision-making
- Collaborate with instructors to support implementation fidelity and program sustainability in schools and districts
- Share market insights with internal teams to refine offerings and GTM approaches.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience leading a territory sales team
- Proven success in consultative sales within K–12 education or the edtech/social-emotional learning space
- Strong team leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing remote sales teams
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment
- Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities
- Proficient in using CRM systems (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Passionate about education, equity, and improving outcomes for children and educators.
