About the role

  • Own and manage a defined territory with direct sales responsibilities, including identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan aligned with organizational goals and PK-5 market expansion
  • Engage in high-level consultative selling to uncover district needs and present tailored Conscious Discipline solutions
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders across districts and schools
  • Conduct presentations, discovery calls, and product demonstrations to drive awareness and value
  • Track sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts using CRM tools with a high level of accuracy and accountability
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment between territory strategies, organizational priorities, and overall business objectives
  • Lead, coach, and support a team of Development Representatives across assigned territories, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and collaboration
  • Oversee team performance management, including setting clear expectations, monitoring progress toward KPIs, and implementing strategies for continuous improvement
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to provide individualized coaching, performance feedback, and professional development of team members
  • Translate GTM strategies into actionable regional plans and ensure consistent execution across all territories within scope
  • Collaborate with leadership on strategic planning and resource allocation to drive territory growth and optimize team effectiveness
  • Provide regular performance updates, pipeline insights, and market feedback to leadership to inform broader strategy and decision-making
  • Collaborate with instructors to support implementation fidelity and program sustainability in schools and districts
  • Share market insights with internal teams to refine offerings and GTM approaches.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience leading a territory sales team
  • Proven success in consultative sales within K–12 education or the edtech/social-emotional learning space
  • Strong team leadership skills with experience mentoring or managing remote sales teams
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment
  • Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities
  • Proficient in using CRM systems (Salesforce, Zoho, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Passionate about education, equity, and improving outcomes for children and educators.
