About the role
- Provides support to Account Manager and customers during the order fulfillment process
- Handles incoming calls and assists on calls when needed
- Places orders for the Account Manager
- Follows up as needed on orders to ensure satisfactory delivery
- Prepare quotes, research customer product questions, and assist with bids
- Handles all aspects of order preparation
- Serves customers at the highest level in order to assist in closing any potential sales
- Assists the Account Manager with stock, credit, and shipping issues, as well as open/backlogged orders
Requirements
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office knowledge
- Organized with the ability to multitask and manage priorities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Adaptable with the ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to compose professional business communications via email
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with item-by-item focus, meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service to our customers
- Ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally
