About the role

  • Serve as the point of contact for all technical inquiries about hardware, software, or other designated client products
  • Greet customers courteously and professionally using agreed-upon procedures
  • Listen attentively to customer needs and concerns and demonstrate empathy
  • Clarify customer requirements; probe for understanding to resolve non-standard/unstructured issues
  • Use decision-support tools and resources to resolve customer issues
  • Prepare complete and accurate work including appropriate account notation
  • Maintain broad knowledge of client products (smartphones, tablets, computers, wearables)
  • Deliver expert customer experiences with a smile
  • Participate in training and use provided technologies and support to succeed and grow

Requirements

  • Candidates must be located within 35km of the Halifax site
  • 1 year of customer service experience or equivalent
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbally
  • Familiarity with iOS and/or macOS, or comparable technology (preferred)
  • Ability to multitask, be flexible, and adapt to changes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn
  • Patience when working with customers
  • Availability to work Hours of Operation: 8:00 am-11:30 pm EST Monday-Sunday (schedule rotates every 3 months based on performance)
  • Proficiency in fast-paced multi-tasking
