About the role
- Achieve specific sales targets and maximize sale opportunities on every call
- Use script and/or probing techniques to determine customer needs and offer appropriate products/services
- Maintain broad knowledge of products, pricing, promotions, and procedures
- Ensure service meets contractual sales goals and KPIs
- Greet customers courteously and professionally using agreed procedures
- Listen attentively, demonstrate empathy, and build rapport
- Clarify customer requirements, probe for understanding, and use tools/resources to resolve
- Prepare complete and accurate work including appropriate account notation
- Participate in activities to improve customer satisfaction and sales performance
- Answer billing questions by explaining account components
- Process customer orders and sales and provide basic customer service support
Requirements
- High school diploma with three to six months of sales experience preferred
- Courteous with strong customer service orientation
- Strong communication and negotiation skills required
- Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbally
- Skilled in multi-tasking; ability to be flexible and adapt to changes quickly
- Basic computer navigation skills and PC knowledge
- Tolerance for repetitive work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to work as a team member and independently
- Dependable with proficient attention to detail
- Demonstrate patience in all customer contact situations and maintain a pleasant professional tone
- Able to rotate shifts as needed
- Based on location and/or program, additional experience/skills may be required
- Philippines: Minimum of two years of college education (no prior call center experience required)
- India: High school diploma with zero to six months sales experience preferred; ability to handle complex queries and resolve independently
