About the role
- Identify and evaluate productivity and cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain
- Support supply chain leadership in creating, evaluating, recommending, and executing productivity projects and in developing the long‑range strategic plan and annual operating plan
- Partner with business leaders, Vice Presidents of Operations, and cross‑functional teams to develop a robust pipeline and secure alignment for program initiatives
- Direct your team in managing project scope, planning, and implementation consistent with supply chain and business priorities
- Operate the Conagra Cost Reduction Playbook across all business segments using common processes and metrics established by supply chain leadership
- Partner with cross‑functional resources to define, track, and measure enterprise margin management programs
- Drive high adoption of project chartering and governance standards within the productivity program
- Guide the development of business cases to justify investment and ensure project efforts deliver intended benefits
- Build and develop team talent; coach, guide, and direct resources, including responsibility for performance and salary reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, Food Technology, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
- 8+ years of experience with progressive responsibility across multiple supply chain or operations disciplines
- Background in consumer packaged goods or food and beverage manufacturing preferred
- Experience working effectively across diverse functions
- Strong understanding of manufacturing and distribution operations
- Familiarity with project management concepts and the use of project management tools and techniques
- Demonstrated skill in anticipating customer needs, managing ambiguity, and taking proactive action
- Demonstrated skill in resolving conflict and providing decisive, respected leadership
- Strong communication skills with both functional and technical partners through written and verbal formats, including presenting information in group settings
- Strong judgment and creative problem‑solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution
- Willingness to travel 25 to 30 percent of the time
