Review, initiation, execution, remediation and reporting of technical security processes within Infrastructure Security teams’ remit
Review and remediate patching and configuration vulnerabilities across global infrastructure, including automation and threat/vulnerability compliance remediation
Coordinate remediation, zero day response and delivery of core remediation items
Review and deliver existing Infrastructure Security managed systems and project onboarding activities
Ensure RBAC aspects are reviewed, documented and elevated accounts placed into appropriate security vaults
Operational management of security tasks such as patching, vulnerability remediation, and security standard implementation and validation
Evaluate Infrastructure Security toolsets and provide securing recommendations (e.g., SCCM, Flexera)
Provide technical direction on Microsoft patching, policies (tooling & GPO) and vulnerability remediation across the global fleet
Provide Zero Day/OOB guidance/support to the Global Systems Manager on management of policies and vulnerability management
Software and hardware lifecycle management (EoL & security flaws)
Regular collaboration with Security Operations group/CTS to improve security processes, validation, and implementation
Policy Hardening Governance: review Server & Endpoint and monitor for changes/anomalies which drift from agreed standards
Mentor team members and contribute to continual training and knowledge sharing via collaboration platforms (Microsoft Teams)
Requirements
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a technical IT infrastructure role or security role
Strong working experience with managing software vulnerabilities
Experience with OS and software patching
Experience with antivirus (security tooling & policies)
AD and GPO management (including Technical Security Standards)
Background in managing server infrastructures
Functional knowledge of firewalls
Client and server maintenance and monitoring
Technical troubleshooting and vulnerability management
Understanding of cross-regional change management processes
Infrastructure or security related certifications
IT certifications and/or related experience such as CompTIA A+, Server+, Linux+, Network+, CCENT, MSCA
Project management exposure
Attention to detail and evaluative judgement
Analytical and excellent problem-solving skills
Ability to learn new technologies and follow processes and procedures
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
