About the role

  • Ensuring the seamless operation, deployment, and continuous improvement of both on-premises and cloud platforms.
  • Collaborating with development, operations, and security teams.
  • Driving automation, standardization, and innovation across our technology stack.
  • Maintaining high service availability, supporting internal projects, and delivering robust, scalable solutions that align with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements, contributing to strategic initiatives, and advancing technical expertise through ongoing learning and certification opportunities.

Requirements

  • Requires a good understanding of work routines and procedures used to support and remediate platform support issues.
  • Familiar with operating within defined technical and operational procedures, which require proficient knowledge and awareness on how to apply them.
  • Ability to respond to and resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience, which will be guided by clear policy and procedure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and some evaluative judgement based on best practice and previous experience.
  • Combination of experience in the use of:
  • - Windows Server
  • - Cloud Platforms, preferably Azure
  • - Scripting, ideally PowerShell
  • - Microsoft .NET Stack
  • - NLB Concepts, preferably Citrix ADC (NetScaler)
  • - CI/CD Tooling
  • - Kubernetes
