Responsible for the overall direction, planning, coordination, implementation, execution and management of projects
Provide coaching and mentoring to less experienced Project Managers / Project Coordinators
Deliver services that support company objectives
Facilitate investigation, analysis, and remediation of issues and risks
Lead the planning and implementation of project(s) throughout the project lifecycle
Manage project budget, resource allocation, and project documents
Communicate with stakeholders about project scope, tasks, deliverables, resources, and budgets
Own and resolve project issues and drive risk mitigation
Provide status reporting throughout the project to internal and external stakeholders
Ensure all project documentation is entered and/or updated in a timely manner.
Perform invoicing and project closure functions including Customer Satisfaction Surveys.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in Project Management within the IT industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
Smartsheet proficiency is a plus
PMP and/or PRINCE2 certification is a plus
Legally eligible to work in the United States
Expert knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Proven ability to motivate and build strong teams
Experience coaching and mentoring
Excellent customer interfacing skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven experience in effective meeting facilitation
Proven experience in people management
Proven experience in issue & risk management.
Proven ability to multi-task, stay organized, and work efficiently
Proven ability to work independently, as well as with peers
Proven ability to problem solve and perform analysis
Proficient in project management software
Strong knowledge of technical concepts, terms and practices used in the assessment and implementation of IT Infrastructure and Services.
