About the role

  • Responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation
  • Promotes the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation
  • Upholds the Code of Ethical Conduct and promotes positive working relationships within the company
  • Assists in building a cohesive team and focuses heavily on the communication of and commitment to the Company's vision
  • Assists the Home Health Executive Director in strategizing ways to meet and exceed critical metrics, including budget
  • Manages policies and procedures, budgeting, and financial oversight to ensure effective and efficient use of resources
  • Coordinates and reviews financial information to prioritize and direct staffing, resource allocation, and objectives for assigned area(s)
  • Develops and maintains business plans to effectively operate the business focusing on all pillars of the organization
  • Recruits, hires, orients, assigns, evaluates, and guides staff positions to meet agency and patient needs
  • Ensures delivery of quality care, enhancement of business development, and continuous improvement of agency efficiency

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or a related Human Services field strongly preferred
  • At least two (2) years of experience in the healthcare industry required
  • Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience required
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, colleagues, investors, and external parties
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends
  • Must be able to travel frequently overnight as required (approximately 75% of the time)
