About the role
- Responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation
- Promotes the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation
- Upholds the Code of Ethical Conduct and promotes positive working relationships within the company
- Assists in building a cohesive team and focuses heavily on the communication of and commitment to the Company's vision
- Assists the Home Health Executive Director in strategizing ways to meet and exceed critical metrics, including budget
- Manages policies and procedures, budgeting, and financial oversight to ensure effective and efficient use of resources
- Coordinates and reviews financial information to prioritize and direct staffing, resource allocation, and objectives for assigned area(s)
- Develops and maintains business plans to effectively operate the business focusing on all pillars of the organization
- Recruits, hires, orients, assigns, evaluates, and guides staff positions to meet agency and patient needs
- Ensures delivery of quality care, enhancement of business development, and continuous improvement of agency efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or a related Human Services field strongly preferred
- At least two (2) years of experience in the healthcare industry required
- Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience required
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, colleagues, investors, and external parties
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends
- Must be able to travel frequently overnight as required (approximately 75% of the time)
