About the role
- Be the first point of contact for visitors and callers.
- Support daily administrative tasks and assist the Director of Programs.
- Respond to information requests, general inquiries, and provide program information to the public.
- Log calls, emails, and visitor inquiries in the Welcome team Inquiry Tracker.
- Order and maintain office and participant-lounge supplies.
- Coordinate administrative details involved in activities, meetings, projects, etc.
- Track tasks and reports with deadlines.
- Provide administrative support for priority projects.
Requirements
- Personable, friendly, customer service-oriented attitude.
- Sensitive to the needs of persons with low literacy challenges, English as an Additional Language, and individuals with disabilities.
- Experience in working with a multicultural and/or individuals with income barriers.
- Dependable, reliable, and accountable.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Organizational skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Knowledge of community resources in Calgary is an asset.
- 2-3 years customer services skills.
- Training in Office Administration and/or Coaching.
