About the role

  • Be the first point of contact for visitors and callers.
  • Support daily administrative tasks and assist the Director of Programs.
  • Respond to information requests, general inquiries, and provide program information to the public.
  • Log calls, emails, and visitor inquiries in the Welcome team Inquiry Tracker.
  • Order and maintain office and participant-lounge supplies.
  • Coordinate administrative details involved in activities, meetings, projects, etc.
  • Track tasks and reports with deadlines.
  • Provide administrative support for priority projects.

Requirements

  • Personable, friendly, customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Sensitive to the needs of persons with low literacy challenges, English as an Additional Language, and individuals with disabilities.
  • Experience in working with a multicultural and/or individuals with income barriers.
  • Dependable, reliable, and accountable.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of community resources in Calgary is an asset.
  • 2-3 years customer services skills.
  • Training in Office Administration and/or Coaching.
