About the role

  • Serve as the primary strategic contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of existing OEM clients
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new sales opportunities
  • Lead the full sales cycle from initial opportunity through RFQ analysis, proposal development, negotiation of contracts and pricing, and successful closure
  • Collaborate seamlessly with internal cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch, delivery, and ongoing support of projects
  • Maintain and prepare regular sales forecasts and activity reports for management
  • Monitor industry trends and market conditions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or marketing, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5+ years of account management or inside sales experience, preferably in plastics
  • Creative problem-solving
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Self-starter with initiative
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Strong familiarity with account management, RFQ process, and financial impact assessment
  • Proven track record of winning new business and nurturing relationships
  • High proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
