💰 £81,630 - £90,700 per year
About the role
- Oversee daily operations for our equities and derivatives business, including customer onboarding, trade routing and outsourced service delivery
- Act as a first line of defence in identifying and escalating operational issues, ensuring timely resolution with internal and external partners
- Monitor the performance of intra-group outsourcing arrangements to ensure compliance with service level agreements and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Product teams to ensure processes meet MiFID and FCA standards
- Produce and maintain operational MI (management information) to track performance, incidents, and customer outcomes
- Contribute to operational readiness for new product launches, system changes, and regulatory initiatives
- Analyse data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for efficiency; support decision-making with clear insights
- Lead or support process improvement projects to strengthen controls, reduce manual effort, and improve customer experience
Requirements
- Prior experience in financial services, ideally within capital markets, trading, or post-trade operations
- Strong understanding of operational processes around order flow, settlement, or derivatives trading (experience with MiFID products a plus)
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to structure and interpret data to generate insights
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy is critical
- Self-starter with a willingness to learn, take ownership, and grow with the business
