About the role

  • Work with decision makers and other stakeholders in US State, Local and Federal agencies to actively seek new business opportunities and build relationships with potential customers.
  • Collaborate internally with Product, Marketing, Pre-Sales and Delivery Teams.
  • Plan, organize, and lead sales growth, penetrate new and under-served accounts, and maintain long-term customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain account plans and execute sales strategies aligned with account plans.
  • Manage State, Local and Federal procurement and contracting processes.
  • Meet or exceed sales objectives and build/maintain a pipeline of business opportunities.
  • Communicate technical understanding of Cognyte’s offerings and engage pre-sales, engineering, marketing, and senior management as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of proven work experience in SLED and Federal Sales.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Very good interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
  • Excellent Presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Fluent English
  • Experience with sales techniques and tools.
  • Previous experience working with Law Enforcement, Financial and Cyber Investigations teams.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and manage State, Local and Federal procurement and contracting processes.
  • US Citizenship Required.
