About the role

  • End-to-End Cognyte Product Integration (Installation, Troubleshooting, Testing of Cognyte and commercial off-the-shelf equipment, SAT & Handover) globally/in-house
  • Represent Cognyte in front of the customer for integration with the customer network; HW & SW installations; general technical issues, on-site trainings, QA testing
  • End to End responsibility on global integration and installation of Cognyte products at customer site/Lab
  • Analysis and troubleshooting on multi technologies; customer oriented; good verbal and written communication in English
  • Work independently at site, troubleshoot issues with remote support, communicate issues clearly to customers
  • Participate in developing state of the art security technologies and high-level involvement in major projects that contribute to public safety
  • May require 0-20% travel and availability to support beyond office hours

Requirements

  • Practical engineering degree in electronics or computer science (Diploma will also be considered)
  • Experience as an engineer in a global company, facing abroad customers
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience supporting multi-technology in IT Support/Telecom
  • Mandatory - Knowledge in Linux, Bash/Shell, Python scripting
  • Mandatory - Knowledge in OpenShift, Dockers, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins (DevOps tools)
  • Mandatory - Knowledge in VMware, vCenter & vStorage
  • Mandatory - Knowledge in Windows OS (installation, administration and configuration)
  • Mandatory - Knowledge with HW area Dell and HP Servers/ILO/iDRAC/ Raid (all server generations)
  • Mandatory - Good written and oral communication skills in English
  • Mandatory - Flexible to work different time-zones and willingness to work beyond office hours
  • Mandatory - Global customer handling experience
  • Ability to work independently onsite, troubleshoot with remote support, and clearly communicate issues
  • Ability to analyze and diagnose problems, cross-system analytic skills, and presentation skills
  • Ability to write technical work procedures/guides and self-learn from manuals
  • Availability of support beyond office hours
  • Advantage - Person who already relocated to other country; Advantage - Knowledge in Big Data/Hadoop Cluster
  • Advantage - Knowledge in Storage installation/administration/configuration (NetApp/EMC)
  • Advantage - Knowledge in Database – MS SQL, Sybase, Hive, GreenPlum DB
  • Advantage - Knowledge in data security, firewalls, security protocols
  • Advantage - Knowledge in Virtual Application Load Balancer (Citrix XenApp & AppDirector)
