About the role

  • Process and calculate high-volume terminations; support payroll processing (salary calculations, advances, PPR (profit-sharing), overtime, benefits, pension payments, deductions and charges, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with current labor and tax legislation
  • Understand and monitor the impact of the monthly payroll on mandatory filings and reports (e-Social, DIRF, etc.)
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll processing and payable amounts, validating all inputs and mandatory items (advances, vacations, benefits, deductions, taxes, private pension, loans, etc.)
  • Review and ensure payroll records are accurate
  • Support client inquiries and questions related to payroll
  • Assist with internal and external audit queries
  • Stay up to date on labor and tax legislation.

Requirements

  • Practical knowledge and experience with HR/payroll subsystems (payroll, advances, pension payments/garnishments, onboarding, electronic timekeeping, vacations, leaves of absence, allowances, terminations, collective bargaining agreements, etc.)
  • Knowledge of labor and social security legislation
  • Knowledge of statutory reporting and charges (e-Social, FGTS Digital, IR, CAGED, DIRF)
  • Preferably, experience with SAP ERP
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Accounting or related fields.
