About the role

  • Define and implement a comprehensive Data Quality strategy aligned with business objectives and data governance frameworks. Establish standards, policies, and procedures across all data domains.
  • Establish methods to identify, measure, and remediate data quality issues for every attribute, collaborating with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Perform data profiling and assessments to proactively detect issues such as duplicates, missing values, or inconsistencies. Oversee data quality scorecards to monitor Critical Data Elements (CDEs) across systems.
  • Implement and manage tools to publish data quality rules, define “clean” data, track current status across Systems of Record, and document root causes.
  • Collaboratively define and implement processes and APIs for seamless integration of data quality rules within applications.
  • Develop a stewardship model with accountable Data Owners and Stewards. Manage metadata, cataloging, and data lineage to ensure transparency and traceability.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing Data Quality team. Foster data literacy, nurture Data & Analytics talent, and cultivate a data-driven culture.
  • Leverage advanced analytics and AI to drive data-driven insights. Develop data products and services to expand markets, monetize data, and support decision-making.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and implement governance frameworks for data and algorithms used in analytics, automated decision-making, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with enterprise stakeholders—business, compliance, risk, and IT—to align on data needs, policies, standards, and issue resolution.
  • Drive budget planning, resource allocation, and performance tracking for data quality initiatives, ensuring ROI and value realization.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in data management, with 5+ years in leadership roles focused on data quality and governance.
  • Expertise in data governance, quality tools and advanced analytics
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries.
